Saskatchewan has kept its online market closed. Lotteries and Gaming Saskatchewan, a commercial Crown corporation, has held full conduct and management powers since June 1, 2023, SLGA provides regulatory oversight, and SIGA operates PlayNow.com with BCLC as its service provider. The province describes PlayNow as Saskatchewan's only safe, secure, legal way to gamble online.
What that means in practice
PlayNow Saskatchewan requires you to be a Saskatchewan resident, 19 or older, and physically located in the province. Its sportsbook covers NBA, NHL, NFL, MLB, NCAA football and basketball, rugby, soccer, tennis and golf, with live in-play betting, cash out and same game parlays.
Private commercial operators are not licensed in Saskatchewan. Offshore sites that accept Saskatchewan players do so outside the provincial framework, which means no provincial recourse if something goes wrong with your account or a payout.
